Coaching Requirements
All Coaches for Emerson Soccer are required to complete the following before any team activities may occur:
Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Clinic – learn more HERE. This certificate does not expire.
Emerson Background Check - you will have to be fingerprinted and then registered with the town. To be fingerprinted you will need a service code (2F1J3Y) and contributor case number (B10004) signing up. For the background check, you need to register on the Averity Protect Youth Sports website. It may take 2-3 weeks to be cleared by New Jersey after you go for your prints, so schedule your appointment as soon as possible. After fingerprinting, you need to email a picture of yourself from the chest up in JPEG format to healthdepartment@emersonnj.org. If you are a new coach, all requirements must be completed two months prior to season start.
